Heyo, with the discovery of the cover art for The Land Before Time XIV: Journey of the Brave, I've had to ask myself: what in the world is Wild Arms supposed to be? Seriously, look at him. He looks nothing like any sort of dinosaur that I know about.
I'd say that it would probably be safer to guess his species when we get a better view of him, though for time being I have to ask: does anyone here know if he is assignable to any dinosaur genus that happens to exist? At all?
This is freaking me out.
EDIT: Well, the community has spoken. Unless the official, upcoming site gives a different expanation for what he is supposed to be, it has been decided that Wild Arms is a Caudipteryx.
EDIT 2: Well, we got a look at his in-movie appearance.

EDIT 3: Wild Arms is officially a Nothronychus. I wasn't too off in identifying him as an Alxasaurus in that case, nor the person who voted Therizinosaurus.
