Martin Patterson Hingle (April 26th, 1925 - January 3rd, 2009), known as Pat Hingle was the original narrator for the Land Before Time series. He also voiced Rooter.
Also known as Commissioner Gordon in the Batman series, served in Navy during World War II and known as General Luft in the 1999 film "Muppets from Space".
Hingle died at his home in Carolina Beach, North Carolina, of cancer on Saturday, January 3, 2009, having been diagnosed with myelodysplasia in November 2006. He was cremated. His ashes were scattered into the Atlantic Ocean.
