Isaberrysaura is a species of early ornithischian from the Early Jurassic of Argentina. It is not known exactly where it fits in the ornithischian family tree, but it is theorized to be an early thyreophoran, the group that includes stegosaurs and ankylosaurs. However, unlike almost all known thyreophorans, aside from Scutellosaurus, it is bipedal instead of quadrupedal. Its last meal, several small seeds, was found inside its gut, proving it was a herbivore. These stomach contents are the first to be found in any neornithischian.
In The Land Before Time
A bipedal stegosaurid briefly appears during the song Imaginary Friend in The Land Before Time IX: Journey to Big Water. Though it does not resemble any known dinosaur, the closest match is Isaberrysaura.
