Clubtail is the Land Before Time series name for ankylosaurs. Like all thyreophorans (this group contains stegosaurs, ankylosaurs and nodosaurs) they are shown to be gluttonous creatures, spending most of the time eating. The most notable Clubtail is Mr. Clubtail, who makes his first appearance in The Time of the Great Giving. Other notable Clubtails in the series include Kosh from "The Star Day Celebration" and an unnamed Clubtail from "The Amazing Threehorn Girl".
Clubtails are apparently known to smell bad, as Petrie compares the scent of the smelly flowers to them.
