Land Before Time Wiki

The Land Before Time is widely known to the public in many ways, in quite a few positive and negative. In one way however, it is known for its rather low-end animation quality (except for the original). It is not uncommon for the sequels and (especially) the TV series to have animation errors; some minor, others downright egregious. This article is dedicated to listing every animation error that has occurred in The Land Before Time franchise, in order of which they first occur.

Animation errors in the films[]

The Land Before Time[]

  • During the Sharptooth attack Littlefoot says "Mother?!" and his mother says "Run run!" their mouths aren't moving.
  • In the scene when Littlefoot and Ducky first meet Petrie, Littlefoot appears with blue eyes in two shots. That error was in pre-2015 printings, as the 2015 remastered version shows Littlefoot with purple eyes in those two shots. Also during that entire scene, Ducky's eyes are brown instead of blue.
  • During the film's climax, while pushing the boulder - and by extension, Sharptooth - off of the cliff, Littlefoot's mouth does not move when he says "Cera, you're back!".
  • When the children arrive at the Great Valley and reunite with their families, the dark coloration around Daddy Topps' eyes is missing.

The Land Before Time II: The Great Valley Adventure[]

  • When Grandpa Longneck states that the Great Valley is a wonderful place to grow up, his eye bags are the same color as the rest of his body.
  • In the scene where Ozzy and Strut attempt to hunt Flyer eggs but are foiled by the childrens' shouting over Chomper, when the camera pans to show Littlefoot and his friends scaling the Smoking Mountain to save their friend, they are shown walking into the sky.
  • During the scene where one of the Sharpteeth attack Grandpa Longneck, Mama Flyer has her son's colors in one shot
  • During the first chase scene with the sharpteeth, Papa Sharptooth is drawn as much larger and stranger-looking than Mama Sharptooth. He also has huge pupils.
  • When the grown ups start wondering how the sharpteeth got into the valley, Topsy's back is missing it's darker gray coloration.
  • During a shot where the adults are heading over to fix the Great Wall, two light green, oversized models of Spike can be seen on the right. In the same shot, two herbivores are seen that look like an ankylosaur with the colors of a stegosaur along with an oversized Cera
  • During the shot where the adults are fixing the Great Wall, Grandpa Longneck's back stripe is missing.
  • During the credits of the film, a Saurolophus is seen with its crest curving down like that of a Parasaurolophus.

The Land Before Time III: The Time of the Great Giving[]

  • In a scene early on in the film, before the issue regarding the Thundering Falls arises, two Brachiosaurus appear, however they curiously have no head crests and have fairly short necks.
  • During the scene where the grownups are arguing over water, Mama Flyer is briefly seen with her son, Petrie's coloring.
  • Just before the song "When You're Big" starts, Hyp's dorsal ridge turns red. That error was only in the remastered version.
  • After "Standing Tough", Daddy Topps is shown in one shot with a missing hind leg before the scene transitions to the next.
  • During the song "Kids Like Us", two very odd-looking reddish-brown creatures can be seen. They look like hybrids of a Stegosaurus and an Ankylosaurus. In the same scene, an off-model Stegosaurus can also be seen.
  • During the scene where Mutt's Father accidentally lets the Fast Biters pass by him, Mutt's father briefly gets his son's color scheme. In this same scene, when Daddy Topps walks in front of Mutt's Father, Mutt's Father disappears.
  • During the final battle, the Velociraptor keep changing sizes, from being the size of a real life Deinonychus to the size of the morph of the Deinonychus introduced in VII; in one extreme instance, a raptor is shown as the size of a large theropod.

The Land Before Time IV: Journey through the Mists[]

  • During the scene where the Old One and her herd arrive in the Great Valley, an oversized model of Cera briefly appears in the crowd.
  • In the same scene, Mama Flyer briefly appears with the colors of her son.
  • During the song Grandma's Lullaby, a pair of Maiasaura are seen with baby Saurolophus in their nest instead of babies of their own kind.
  • After Spike sends Ichy away squawking, his chin briefly changes to the same color as his dorsal ridge and plate bumps.
  • At the end, when Ali bids Littlefoot and his friends farewell, her eyes are brown instead of blue.

The Land Before Time V: The Mysterious Island[]

  • While the "last tree star" is chased by the main five, Ducky holds onto Cera's tail and then walks on her back which tickles her cutting to a full length of Cera running and laughing at the same time with Ducky missing.
  • During one scene in the argument about whether or not the herds should split up, a strangely small model of the franchise's Iguanodon briefly appears.
  • In the scene with the duckbill skeleton, a Brachiosaurus is seen having a long, black stripe on the back of its neck instead of a single black spot.
  • In the scene where the parents become frantic after they cannot locate their children, among the most severe of the film series' animation errors occur. Among these errors are a duo of Triceratops that appear to be merged into one individual, off-models of Grandma and Grandpa Longneck, an off-model Saurolophus with colors similar to the series' Lambeosaurus, a miscolored ceratopsid with only one horn, a very off-model Triceratops, mushed Apatosaurus at the bottom of the image, and a green creature that is so off-model that it is impossible to make out what it is intended to be. Finally, an Ankylosaurus is seen sunken into the ground, making it resemble a modern hedgehog.
  • In the chase with the shark, the shark has a number of errors. When it dives down into the water, it does not have sclerae nor irises, only pupils. When it bursts out of the water right before it bites the log the gang are on, it has black sclerae and white pupils. In a couple of shots, it also has no irises.
  • During the scene where Littlefoot catches Ducky after she falls from the clutches of the Sharptooth Flyer, Littlefoot's back is colored the same color green as Spike.
  • When the Plated Sharptooth attacks Littlefoot from behind, his eye bags are missing. This happens again when he corners the gang at the edge of the island.
  • When the children make a break for their lives after Plateback plucks the roses they were hiding in, Petrie briefly disappears.
  • While the gang is crossing the fallen tree over the ravine to flee from Plateback, Cera, Petrie, and Littlefoot are in shades of gray for a brief moment.
  • Before the Plated Sharptooth leaps across the ditch to reach the children, there is a weird skin growth coming out of his snout. The growth also appears on one of his brow ridges and his right third finger.
  • After Plateback lands behind the gang, the sclara of Spike's right eye is entirely purple-violet.
  • As Chomper is walking home before rushing to his friends' aid, he has an extra finger on his hands.
  • Before the sharptooth fight starts, Plateback's throat briefly turns green.
  • As Plateback is sizing Papa Sharptooth and Mama Sharptooth up for battle, the stripes on his hips are missing. This also happens on every scene before and during the faceoff.
  • During one shot in the sharptooth fight, the Plated Sharptooth's snout changes from green to the same color of tan as his underbelly. The bags under his eyes are also not visible yet again.
  • While facing off against Plateback, Mama Sharptooth's left eye briefly disappears.
  • Before Plateback closes in on Mama Sharptooth, his throat briefly turns the same color as his body.
  • When Littlefoot says "Stay in the still water!" to Chomper, his mouth isn't moving.
  • During one shot in the gang's trip across the ocean, the shark-like fin on Elsie's head briefly disappears.
  • During another shot in the gang's trip across the ocean, Elsie's dark green back markings disappear.

The Land Before Time VI: The Secret of Saurus Rock[]

  • During the scene where Grandpa Longneck admonishes Daddy Topps for being extremely rude to Doc, Grandpa Longneck has Grandma Longneck's coloring.
  • On three different occasions, the Allosaurus is accidentally (though correctly) depicted with three-fingered hands, though throughout most of the film, it has two. Also, in the first instance, the Browridge Sharptooth also seems to have four fingers on his right hand. As well, in the third instance, the sharptooth's head seems to be more rough than his head normally is and is missing his pupils.
  • When Ducky states that Cera was the one who told the twins to get lost, her ridge is the same color as her dorsal stripe.

The Land Before Time VII: The Stone of Cold Fire[]

  • During one scene where the Far Walkers are walking to the Great Valley, an Apatosaurus seems to have purple eyes instead of the usual white, and a Corythosaurus in the background is nearly as big as two Brachiosaurus.
  • During the scene where the far-walkers arrive, a Maiasaura is depicted with scutes like a Spiketail.
  • During the discussion of the stone after Littlefoot tells everyone about it, two odd-looking sauropods can be seen. They have the bodies of a Brachiosaurus but have the head of an Apatosaurus, making it an animation error.
  • During the scene with the rainbow faces, Ducky's Mother is about the same height as Grandpa and Grandma longneck.
  • After the end of the song Beyond the Mysterious Beyond, the face and part of the neck of an Apatosaurus change from tan to a deep red color.
  • While taunting the children that something terrible might have had happened to them, Rinkus's chest changes from pink to a deep pink color.
  • During the scene where the grownups tell the Gang the story of Pterano, Grandma Longneck is briefly depicted with Grandpa Longneck's coloring.
  • For one frame during the vine-crossing scene, Cera's eyelids change to the same color orange as the rest of her body.
  • During the song Good Inside, the back parts of Petrie's wings aren't colored in when he holds Ducky's hands (This was fixed in the digital HD version of the film.)
  • Also during Good Inside, Cera's frill has an extra white bump on it.
  • During the song Very Important Creature, the model of an Apatosaurus appears to be fused with the model of the franchise's Brachiosaurus and the back markings on the Brachiosaurus standing nearby are not colored in.
  • Near the end of the film, when Pterano's sentence is reduced to five cold times, an off-model tan Stegosaurus ungulatus appears in the crowd.

The Land Before Time VIII: The Big Freeze[]

  • When Ducky expresses her frustration towards a sleeping Spike, the latter's chin is miscolored as green in one scene.
  • Over the course of two scenes, three Stegosaurus are shown with plates far smaller than those of the typical franchise model.
  • When Littlefoot is telling his grandfather that he likes the white ground sparkles, Grandpa's snout is miscolored dark gray.
  • As Spike, Tippy, Tippy's mom and three other Stegosaurs apporach a pond to drink one of the spiketails eyes are oversized.
  • During Mr. Thicknose's explanation of how he accumulated his knowledge from secondhand sources, a Triceratops is depicted without brow horns.

The Land Before Time IX: Journey to Big Water[]

  • In two shots, the color around Mo's eyes is purple instead of red.

The Land Before Time X: The Great Longneck Migration[]

  • During the sleep story scene, a tiny model of the franchise's Brachiosaurus passes by with the other sauropods.
  • During one shot in the forest scene, a Brachiosaurus is depicted with the colors of one of the other, nondescript sauropods depicted in the movie.
  • Grandpa Longneck changes from blue to a deep blue color. Also, his teeth turn blue.
  • During the sharptooth fight scene, there is an infamous shot wherein the Orange-Brown Sharptooth is colored green, and the Gray Sharptooth is colored orange-brown.
  • Also, seconds later, the Green Sharptooth and the Orange-Brown Sharptooth have their colors switched around.
  • Strangely, in one scene where the Green Sharptooth lunges at Grandpa Longneck, it has a green tooth for about a frame.

The Land Before Time XI: Invasion of the Tinysauruses[]

  • During the scene where the Valleydwellers are yelling at Grandpa Longneck when he states that the Tinysauruses deserve to eat the tree sweets as much as the other dinosaurs do, Grandma Longneck is seen among the angry crowd despite the fact that she is in agreement with Grandpa Longneck about the issue.
  • Just before the 'Creepy Crawlies' song begins, a rainbowface is shown with extremely bright red eyes for a few frames, rather than the usual dull orange.
  • During the 'Creepy Crawlies' song, a close-up of a rainbowface depicts it with a green muzzle, rather than a peach one.
  • During one shot during 'Creepy Crawlies', a rainbowface has white eyes.
  • During 'Creepy Crawlies', a Corythosaurus is depicted with a brown crest and a brown snout.
  • During one shot, the eyes of one of the Fast Biters changes from red to yellowish orange. This could simply be the result of the lighting, however.
  • Tinysauruses background changes from yellow
  • In another shot during the tinysaurus/sharptooth chase, the eyes of both of the fast biters turn yellow.
  • At the end, when all of the residents of the Great Valley are gathered around the Treesweet Tree, a giant Tinysaurus, a creature known for being tiny, can be seen among the crowd.
  • An infamous animation error shows two fast biters as residents of the Great Valley, with the colors of rainbowfaces, around the residents near the Treesweet Tree.

The Land Before Time XII: The Great Day of the Flyers[]

  • During the song "Things Change", when Cera crosses the log, the sclerae of Cera's eyes are blue in one shot.
  • When Grandpa Longneck says "If only Grandma was here to see this" after Topps falls into the mud, his lips don't move, and when Littlefoot says to the gang "We better go" his lips also don't move.
  • After the flyer's "best practice flight ever", Petrie's voice is replaced by one of his siblings when his mouth moves and says "Guido, come on!"
  • When Guido states "Not that anyone's saying you're disturbed, least of all me..." to Topsy, his wing feathers change color from pale green and yellow to turquoise, like the rest of his body.
  • During the song "Flip, Flap and Fly":
    • Topsy and Tria are seen watching the aerial displays. After the song is over, when Tricia falls into the river, the duo are back at their nest, asleep.
    • when Petrie flies past the Tinysauruses, a stalagmite is placed over Big Daddy's tail instead of behind it.

The Land Before Time XIII: The Wisdom of Friends[]

  • In the beginning of the movie, the Fast Biters teeth are often flat and sometimes have strange looking head designs.
  • During the earthshake scene, Littlefoot's left front foot clips into the log.
  • When Grandma Longneck climbs up the cliff, there is a river at the bottom. But after a few seconds the river completely vanishes. (Image TBA)
  • When we first see Petrie the brown coloration on his arms is missing.
  • In one scene, Cera's pupils briefly become extremely large before she falls into the river. Later on in the film, her sclerae turn green and her irises turn white when the Yellow Bellies spot the funny looking rock and when she instructs Littlefoot to "tell them one of your wisdoms."
  • When Petrie fly's around Littlefoot during the beginning of Say So, he vanishes for a split second.
  • During the song Say So, The leaf that Littlefoot eats becomes transparent. Littlefoot's right eye also briefly becomes transparent twice. So does Ducky's right eye.
  • When Ducky sits on the thorn, her left foot is clipped into Spike's back.
  • Spike's chin is briefly colored the same color green as the rest of his head a few times in the film, during Say So, after Loofah saves Doofah from choking, and when they meet up with the Yellow Bellies the next morning.
  • When Loofah runs over to stop Doofah from choking, there is a noticeable cut in the background where the two images don't line up.
  • During the scene where Cera asks the Yellow Bellies where their herd is located, Petrie's eyes briefly flash brown.
  • While seeing the gang again, Loofah's rearend feathers are yellow in one shot.
  • During the scene where Doofah sees the sharpteeth approaching, Foobie is missing the yellow coloring on his belly, Loofah is missing his tail, and Doofah has four arms.
  • There's a rather unusual error that occurs multiple times throughout the movie, wherein the Sharpteeth are occasionally drawn as Tyrannosaurus.
  • Throughout the film, Loofah can be seen missing the dark blue coloring on his back
  • After talking to Tria, Grandma Longneck's eyes turn red.
  • In one of the shots before the Yellow Belly Bounce, Foobie is missing his tail. Foobie is also missing his pokedots on his rump about four times during the song and later when he's savig Doofah. The dark green coloring on his back is also missing.
  • When Doofah hugs Cera a second time, Cera's frill clips into Doofah's neck. Also, when Doofah let's her go, her thumb claw briefly turns into the same color as her body.
  • In the shot after Littlefoot tells the Yellow Bellies to "stay in a group", there are two Loofah's and two Doofah's.
  • During "How Do You Know", Ducky's eyelids aren't animated when she's closing her eyes at one point.
  • During the scene when the gang and the Yellow Bellies are looking for shelter, Loofah's head feathers clip into the wall. Cera's right front foot also clips through the ground in one shot.
  • During the same scene, Doofah can be seen colored incorrectly a couple of times.
  • Doofah separates from the herd. However, you can still see her with the herd in a few shots afterwards.
  • When the Yellow Bellies run towards the plateau, Cera's nose horn is briefly the same color as her body. Littlefoot's sclerae also turns white a few seconds later.
  • When the Yellow Bellies run towards the plateau, you can see that they run past Ducky and Petrie. But in the very next shot Ducky and Petrie are now ahead of them.
  • Before Ducky and Petrie are sat on, Ducky's tongue briefly flashes green.
  • During the fart joke one of the Yellow Bellies (the brown one) has transparent fingers. The one on the right is also missing it's nostrils.
  • Before Cera notices that Doofah is missing, Loofah's entire body is blue.
  • While the Yellow Bellies go to where Doofah is, Foobie has head feathers when he is not supposed to.
  • At the start of the climax, Loofah and Doofah are miscolored in one shot (Doofah is now green, and Loofah is a light purple).
  • When Foobie comes up with a way to defend themselves from the sharpteeth, his chin flashes the same color as his body everytime he opens his mouth. His beak is also green instead of peach when he starts bouncing.
  • Petrie is missing in one of the shots while the group is bouncing. Also in the same shot, Loofah has eyelashes.
  • After they defeat the sharpteeth, there's a shot where Spike is a lot bigger than he normally is.
  • When the Yellow Bellies go to see what Foobie is so excited about, Loofah has Foobie's color scheme.
  • When Littlefoot congrats Foobie for finding Berry Valley, the Yellow Belly on the right has fingernails that are the same color as it's body.

The Land Before Time XIV: Journey of the Brave[]

  • On two different occasions, the Horned Sharptooth is correctly, though accidentally, depicted with four fingers, the first instance on his right hand for a few seconds, and the second instance on his left hand for a couple of frames.
  • It is unknown as to if it is an error or not, but the animators seem to take a nod to the Carnotaurus, whose name means "meat-eating bull", by connecting its horns together for about a second.

Animation errors in the TV series[]

Opening[]

  • The iris of Red Claw's yellow eye briefly flashes to green before the lightning strikes.

  • During the scene when Petrie is giving Chomper back his tooth which he saved, Chomper has four fingers on each hand when he reaches out to grab the tooth.

"The Great Log Running Game"[]

  • During one shot in "The Great Log Running Game", Chomper is briefly depicted with a dark blue snout instead of a light blue one like his underbelly.
  • This is an infamous scene where, in the climax of the episode, Cera gets washed down the fast water, toward the Roaring Falls. Her dad, Littlefoot, and Spike go to rescue her. While Topps is pushing a large rock to block off her from falling down the waterfall, instead of Spike standing next to Littlefoot, Cera is shown next to him.

"The Brave Longneck Scheme"[]

  • During Rhett's first story, part of the back ridge on the sharptooth's back is colored the same color as his skin.
  • When Cera is beginning to show some disbelief about Rhett's stories, an Apatosaurus has a very compact and squished head, making it resemble a swan. Also, the one next to it has a very stretched head. In this same shot, the heads of the two Apatosaurus on the right appear to be too large compared to the normal model.
  • Shortly after, the cheeks of two Apatosaurus are miscolored purple-brown.
  • The face of an Apatosaurus is shaped strangely in one shot, making it resemble a Camarasaurus.
  • During two shots, the colors of Old One briefly change to the colors of the rest of her herd. The first occurs after Rhett informs the herd about Chomper, and the second occurs when they begin to chase the young sharptooth.

"The Meadow of Jumping Waters"[]

  • During one shot when the grown-up blockade scene zooms in on Daddy Topps and a different, spotted Triceratops, the anonymous Triceratops is briefly depicted with Tria's model instead of its normal one.
  • During one shot when the grown-up blockade scene pulls away from Daddy Topps and the spotted Triceratops, Daddy Topps' entire body is colored the same color black as his back and the colors of two Apatosaurus change to the same colors as Grandpa Longneck.
  • During one shot when the Great Valley Civilians are attempting to figure out how Screech and Thud got into the Great Valley, a Triceratops prorsus is briefly depicted with huge eyes.
  • In one shot when Littlefoot is looking at the battle wondering what to do to help, Red Claw has three fingers on each of his hands.
  • Shortly after the previous error, when Littlefoot is looking at the treesweets, some of his tail is colored the same as his underbelly, and Chomper is correctly (though accidentally) depicted with two fingers.
  • For a few frames, a curious error is made, wherein Grandpa has red sclerae instead of white when he is about to knock away Thud. This happens for a few frames.
  • During the scene where Grandpa Longneck and Daddy Topps are pushing rocks to block the Hidden Canyon, Grandma Longneck is briefly seen with Grandpa Longneck's coloring.
  • During the scene with the meeting at the Rock Circle, a curious error is made in which a model reserved for young longneck characters, such as Littlefoot and Ali, is applied to an adult longneck.
  • Aside from the oversized longneck child, several other dinosaurs seen at the meeting at the Rock Circle have animation errors. The crest of one Corythosaurus fades in and out of the frame, while another appears to be floating. An Ankylosaurus is seen fused into a wall, while another is facing in the completely wrong direction. The left foot of an Iguanodon is fusing into the foot of an Apatosaurus right next to it. Oversized models of Cera and Spike can also be seen in the crowd, with the model even being mis-colored in Cera's case. Even Red Claw can be seen in the background.

"The Legend of the Story Speakers"[]

  • During two shots just before Grandpa Longneck sings his version of Remembering, his black back stripe disappears.
  • During Grandpa Longneck's flashback to his time as a story speaker, he is briefly depicted as a generic Apatosaurus before changing to his model without the black back stripe, before changing back into his normal model.

"The Bright Circle Celebration"[]

  • During the song "Feel So Happy", there are a huge amount of errors.
    • In one shot, Grandma and Grandpa Longneck both have heads that resemble the series' Diplodocus.
    • At one point, Mama Flyer is depicted as being much larger than usual. In the same shot, Mr. Thicknose, Topps, Tria, and Mama Swimmer are all crudely drawn (especially Thicknose). Tricia is also extremely small.
    • In the shot where the kids are sliding down the hill, there are tons of errors:
      • Littlefoot looks nothing like a sauropod.
      • Chomper and Spike are fused together.
      • Ducky and Petrie have disappeared.
      • Ruby is missing her arms and face.
      • One of Mama Flyer's wings are in a strange position.
      • Mr. Thicknose is very crudely drawn, to the point where he doesn't look like himself at all.

      • Grandpa Longneck has two right eyes.
      • Grandma Longneck is replaced by a different morph of Apatosaurus with a worried expression.
    • In the same shot as above, Grandpa Longneck's eye turns red a second later. His head is also shaped differently, akin to a Camarasaurus.
    • A short while later, Petrie's mom looks almost exactly like him.
    • In a later shot, Littlefoot's grandparents resemble generic backgroundApatosaurus.
    • Finally, Littlefoot's grandparents' eye areas are colored black; they also have frightening expressions on their faces.

"The Lonely Journey"[]

  • At the beginning of the episode, Chomper passes by a pair of Ankylosaurus that lack the spikes on their sides. In the same scene, one of two baby Saurolophus appears to be a shrunken-down version of an adult, instead of looking like Ducky.
  • In one shot, one of the stampeding dromaeosaurs is briefly depicted without a mouth.

"The Missing Fast-Water Adventure"[]

  • In the following shot, a Stegosaurus has a bent plate and a derpy eye. The Spiketail Leader also has irises, something that he does not possess in most scenes.
  • Shortly after the previous error, Tria's entire head is briefly the same color as her frill.
  • In yet another shot, there are three errors.
    • Grandma Longneck has a black snout for a second time.
    • A Corythosaurus has an oversized head crest.
    • Tria has a frill bump that uses the same color as her frill.
  • Two Spiketails strangely use the Spiketail Leader's model at one point.
  • In the shot right after the Spiketail one, Tria briefly uses Topps' model.
  • In one quick shot, Grandpa Longneck uses the model of a generic Apatosaurus, and even swaps positions with a different background Apatosaurus, making it seem as if Grandma is actually romantically attached with the background longneck. The longneck itself also has a small white circle under his eye. The Lambeosaurus and Corythosaurus individuals in the shot are also strange-looking.
  • When Daddy Topps and the Spiketail Leader are fighting, a Lambeosaurus is shown drawn in a slightly malformed manner. Grandpa Longneck's cheeks and muzzle are also colored purple, which is only meant to be done with Grandma.
  • During a scene later on in the episode, the plates of the Spiketail Leader briefly change from their normal large, diamond shape to having the same shape as the plates on Tippy's Mother.
  • In one scene, Daddy Topps has Tria's appearance for a few seconds.
  • Near the end of the episode, a Stegosaurus is shown with parts of its stomach missing.
  • In the final scene, half of the body of a Stegosaurus appears to be inside of another individual.

  • In one scene, a Lambeosaurus is accidentally depicted with no eyes. Later on in the same episode, another Lambeosaurus is depicted with a flopped-over crest.
  • In one shot, a hadrosaur with the colors of a generic background sauropod briefly appears. In the same shot, the crest of a Parasaurolophus is extremely thick , a Corythosaurus lacks its back stipe, an extremely off-model Saurolophus appears, and one Lambeosaurus is more detailed than the other.
  • In one shot, a Rainbow Face appears, marking the only time the species appears in the TV series. However, it is quite clumsily drawn; it has a very fat beak, four fingers per hand, green stripes, a short neck, and no brightly colored markings on its snout.

"The Hermit of Black Rock"[]

  • During one shot, two generic background sauropods are briefly depicted with sloping heads.
  • During one shot, a generic background sauropod is briefly depicted with a very short neck.

"March of the Sand Creepers"[]

  • In one shot, miscolored models of Doc and Dara and a Lambeosaurus with a miscolored crest appear as part of the crowd attempting to force the Sand Creepers to leave. In this same shot, a the plates of a Kentrosaurus change from their usual diamond shape to a more oval-like shape.
