Euparkeria is a genus of archosaur from the Middle Triassic period of South Africa. It was very closely related to the early archosaurs, meaning that it is an early ancestor of dinosaurs, pterosaurs, and modern birds and crocodilians. Due to the fact that its front limbs are shorter than its back limbs, Euparkeria is theorized to be a limited biped, though it often walked in a quadrupedal manner if possible.

In The Land Before Time

A Euparkeria is briefly seen in The Land Before Time. It is seen running away from Littlefoot's egg when it falls nearby it, along with a Lagosuchus, a Marasuchus, and a Pederpes.
